The company has announced a new initiative called black + decker health, launched on the market directly to consumers, slid into the category of health and health solutions. Black Health + Decker brings to market a new collection of personal emergency response system called Govia.
There are several products in Govia Line, and all are designed to promote mobility of confidence for older Americans. The company said this product was designed to provide extra protection layers both at home and while traveling for active Americans to help them maintain their lifestyle as they get older. Three of these products include 24/7 monitoring by paid monthly subscription through medical guardians.
Medical Guardian is a provider of treatment solutions connected to adults and older caregivers who can connect them with trained emergency operators if they need help. Product lines include a mini designed to be quiet and portable with national cellular coverage on the Verizon 4G LTE network. This device is very small and lightweight, designed to fit with a belt, in a bag, or used in the neck with a lanyard. Devices can be tracked using GPS, Wi-Fi, and triangulation with a battery life of up to five days.
Govia Move is a lightweight device and can be used with national cellular coverage on AT & T networks with optional use buttons. When the optional button is pressed from up to 300 feet from the base station, it will connect the user to the operator. Waterproof device and designed to be charged on a belt or carried in a wallet. This can be traced to use GPS for Cellular AT & T networks and has battery life up to 24 hours.
Home Classic is designed to be used inside and around the house and is charged as a neck or bracelet pendant with a wireless range of up to 1300 feet from the base station. It can be connected to land for additional protection layers and has a good battery backup for 32 hours. Wireless home does not require a home phone and can be charged as a neck pendant or bracelet with a wireless range of 600 feet and 30 hour reserve life. It operates on Cellular AT & T networks.
Home Fall detection has automatic fall detection that automatically detects movement changes and can connect emergency operators without the need for land. It has 30 hours of battery life and operates on the National AT & T cellular network. All products are available now.
